Accessory Navicular

Accessory Navicular is an extra (accessory) bone or piece of cartilage located on the inner side of the foot, just above the arch, next to the navicular bone.

It is a common anatomical variant present from birth and may be asymptomatic, but in some cases it can cause pain, swelling, and irritation—especially with activity or tight footwear.
